Paul Murphy, Broker Principal - Marketing and Development
Paul Murphy is joint Managing Director of insurics with special responsibilities for marketing and development. Paul has a wide experience in designing risk and insurance programmes for clients in rail, infrastructure and manufacturing, engineering and international sports events.
Paul's previous roles include Senior Management of a major insurer where he was responsible for major client insurance programmes, technical underwriting, reinsurance and claims management.
Paul has been an appointed lecturer in the graduate insurance programmes at UTS and TAFE. Paul is a Fellow of ANZIIF a Certified Insurance Professional, (CIP); Paul holds the Diploma in Financial Services and is a Qualified Practicing Insurance Broker (QPIB).
Mark Gilbert, Broker Manager
Mark's career in the insurance industry spans over 25 years having worked for several large insurance companies and in broking for the past decade. With extensive experience including underwriting, claims, administration, change management, compliance, broking and senior management roles, Mark is well respected in the industry.
Having pioneered many projects for several companies which have focused solely on improving service to the customer, Mark leads by example and is an integral and valuable member of the insurics team.
Grant Sigvart, Rail Sector Manager
Grant Sigvart has over 50 years experience in the insurance industry, including senior management roles in major insurance companies, in both the private and public sectors, both in Australasia and overseas.
Grant left the underwriting industry in 1993 to join International broking houses at senior management level and has specialised in the rail and associated sectors with insurics for well over the past decade.
Grant has a Bachelor of Economics degree and a number of post-graduate qualifications, including public administration and insurance related fields.
Tracie Bornstein, Account Manager
Tracie joined insurics (SGP) in 2003.
Tracie has been in the Insurance Industry for over 18 years. She is a Senior Associate of ANZIIF (Australian and New Zealand Institute of Insurance and Finance, a Certificate Insurance Professional (CIP) and holds a Diploma of Financial Services (Insurance Broking), a Qualified Practising Insurance Broker (QPIB).
Tracie started her insurance career specializing in the Strata Industry where for 9 years she assisted in managing a large portfolio of large commercial & residential properties.
Tracie then took a position as Account Manager, managing a portfolio of small enterprises and owner drivers for the next 5 years.
Tracie then moved into the position of Account Manager in the Transport division under-studying the Account Manager, Liz Stonestreet.
In 2010 Tracie took over the position as Account Manager, managing a large portfolio specializing in Transport / Logistics clients.
Mark Hanna, Account Manager
Mark joined insurics (SGP) in 2006.
Mark has over 9 years experience working in the Insurance Broking industry. Throughout this time he has worked with major Broking houses where he has gained extensive experience managing and providing risk advice to major clients.
Mark has also developed extensive knowledge in providing risk advice to a number of sectors including but not limited to:
- All aspects of the Rail Industry in Australia
- Manufacturing
- Tool making & engineering
- Construction
- Labour Hire/Recruitment
He holds a Diploma of Financial Services (Insurance Broking), a Qualified Practising Insurance Broker (QPIB).
Justin Young, Account Manager
Justin joined insurics (SGP) in 2007.
Justin has 22 years experience in the Insurance Broking and Underwriting Industries.
He holds a Diploma of Financial Services (Insurance Broking), is a Qualified Practising Insurance Broker (QPIB) and is a Senior Associate ANZIIF and is a certified insurance professional (CIP).
Justin has worked with both International and local Broking houses where he has gained extensive experience in Managing and providing risk advice to Public and Private sector clients with Global presence.
Justin has developed knowledge in providing risk advice to a number of sectors including:
- Manufacturing
- Civil Works / Construction (incl. Contract reviews)
- Tool Making
- Not for Profit Associations
Justin also has extensive knowledge in the Workers Compensation area.
Jane Laybutt, Account Manager
Jane joined insurics in 2011.
Jane has 25 years experience in the Insurance Industry.
She holds a Diploma of Financial Services (Insurance Broking), a Qualified Practising Insurance Broker (QPIB).
Jane has worked with local Broking houses and several major Insurance Companies in NSW where she has gained extensive experience in Commercial/Domestic claims and Broking in the Motorsports area and Manufacturing sector.
